Running Accomplishments:

I ran cross country last year and I loved it! I improved a lot over the course of one season. It was my first year running.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Track- I want to be able to run a mile in 06:30. Currently at 06:34

XC- Run a 5k in 22 minutes. (2017, at 23:40)

Also run varsity before high school is over. 

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to continue running and eventually do a marathon with my Aunt Amber. 

Personal:

I have a beast best friend named Kylee who listens to my rants about stupid stuff & lets me know that I don't suck : )

Today I felt terrible. My legs were cramping up and I could not breathe. I wanted to only do 4 striders instead of 6 but Kylee got me going and I finished the whole run. Afterwards I felt great and am so thankful that Kylee pushes me. She is the BEST!!!

So I was really excited to run while I was on vacaton but then the whole family got sick so I couldn't run half of the time which stunk.

Just got to our cabin in canada last night and my mom didnt want us running by ourselves in a forest so we went mountain biking with our dad. It was way fun but really exhausting because of the altitude change. On our way down the mountain I flipped my bike into a mud pit/puddle and totally biffed it. It hurt really bad but my dad made me go again he next day so I could "over come the hill" : ) We went for 75 minutes

This race was super good. I pushed really hard like Coach said and left nothing for the last mile. I was ahead if not with ashlee and kylee for half of the race before I fell behind. Then Jessie came from behind me and kept me going. We both pushed eachother for the rest of the race. I did PR but I could have pushed harder the last 200 meters. So my goal for next race is to do the exact same thing but dig deeper the last 200 meters and go faster.

This race was super awesome because I love new cources that I have not run and I PR'd. While I was racing I kept thinking what my end goal was for the season and how coach always tells us to save nothing for the last mile. This race was super fun and I can't wait until the next one!!

So today was a workout and if I am being honest I was super excited because I wanted to push myself but in the middle I felt like dying. : ) But that's ok because I gave it my best. Before we started the run I told Kylee that I was going to stick with her and that I could not have any excuse other than I just gave up. And I stayed with her the entire time!!!!! It made me see that if I can stick with her during practice then I can do it during a race as well. I am setting a goal for myself and it is to stick with Kylee through out the track season and during practice. I want to get faster and I know if I stick to my goals then I will. I am really grateful to Kylee for pushing me and helping me improve. She is the best!! Thanks a bunch!

Kylee and I ran 65 minutes today. It was really hard and I felt like dying but afterwards I felt really good. I'm super excited for Nike and I want to PR really bad. So today was really good. Kylee and I decided that we were going to stay with group of girls for 10 minutes. We got to that time and then we fell behind for 10 minutes but then on the way back we stayed with them the entire time back. I felt good considering I haven't stayed with them in a long time. My legs were screaming though!!!    : ) And then we did striders which I love. And the awkward  thing of the day that I'm going to start, which is me cause I'm like really awkward. I had to go into the weight room and film this kid while he was wearing a horse head. It was for LA and it was soooooooo weird. So yeah that was my day. Oh I also forgot my water bottle at school. AGAIN. I have problems but it's ok. Kylee said I should start a "what Anna lost today blog".
