Running Accomplishments:

I ran cross country last year and I loved it! I improved a lot over the course of one season. It was my first year running.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Track- I want to be able to run a mile in 06:30. Currently at 06:34

XC- Run a 5k in 22 minutes. (2017, at 23:40)

Also run varsity before high school is over. 

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to continue running and eventually do a marathon with my Aunt Amber. 

Personal:

I have a beast best friend named Kylee who listens to my rants about stupid stuff & lets me know that I don't suck : )

So today was a workout and if I am being honest I was super excited because I wanted to push myself but in the middle I felt like dying. : ) But that's ok because I gave it my best. Before we started the run I told Kylee that I was going to stick with her and that I could not have any excuse other than I just gave up. And I stayed with her the entire time!!!!! It made me see that if I can stick with her during practice then I can do it during a race as well. I am setting a goal for myself and it is to stick with Kylee through out the track season and during practice. I want to get faster and I know if I stick to my goals then I will. I am really grateful to Kylee for pushing me and helping me improve. She is the best!! Thanks a bunch!

I haven't been too good at blogging so I am starting over and going to blog everyday again. Today's run was pretty good. I really loved Coach Robert's message during our meeting as well.
