Running Accomplishments:

I ran cross country last year and I loved it! I improved a lot over the course of one season. It was my first year running.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Track- I want to be able to run a mile in 06:30. Currently at 06:34

XC- Run a 5k in 22 minutes. (2017, at 23:40)

Also run varsity before high school is over. 

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to continue running and eventually do a marathon with my Aunt Amber. 

Personal:

I have a beast best friend named Kylee who listens to my rants about stupid stuff & lets me know that I don't suck : )

40 minutes

So my 6 minute test was not very good. But I was only 73 meters slower than my last test so I'm looking at the positive side. I thought that I was going to die but I always feel like dying so. But the hill things were fun but I probably only should have done one but I did 2 any ways. But weights were super fun but I'm am not going to be able to walk tomorrow or probably for a week. :) I wasn't even looking at the weight of the squats bar I just did it and it was really heavy. I was like "dang I didn't know I was this out of shape" but then I looked at the weight and it was 90 POUNDS! I was like well no wonder I felt like I was being squashed. But it was fun so yep. Also I love Kylee and she was really good at making sure that I didn't do anything that will make my knees worse and I'm super excited for us to complete our goals this year and it will be super rad.

I didn't run today because my knee still hurts pretty bad but I am icing/heating my knee which is helping. I also did my squat thingys and stretched. And I'm super proud of Kylee for running her full minutes, even on the days where she has to run by herself. She is a beast.

10 minutes.

So I think that I made my ankle/knee worse cause in PE we were playing soccor and I wasnt trying that hard cause it hurt but then I blocked a ball and got kicked in the shin so that sucked but hey we didnt get scored on lol! So I only went 5 minutes out then it was hurting so I turned back. And I decided to not do the rootbeer mile, and I really wanted to do to- weird right. But to give into my stupid brain just a little bit, I ran and drank Kylee's last lap with her. And that sucked so I don't know why I wanted to do that but next year I am going to run it full out and try to get under 20 minutes!!! Yay! : ) Also I CANNOT WAIT until friday cause I am going to a Cinderella Ballet for my birthday and I am SOOOOOOO excited!!!!! Also school was pretty fun today but I like my B day classes better though. Also I have been doing my one legged squats every day.

40 minutes.

This was the longest run that I have been on since my knee was being dumb and it felt really good. My knee hasn't been hurting all week but after the run it felt sore and later it starting hurting but not as much as it has been. So thats good news. I was also going to go to morning practice today but then I had to drive with the instructor but when I was driving I saw them on the way to artic circle. Mr. Brockman scares me, so hopefully he too strict on every single rule.

50 minutes.

Kylee met at my house and we ran towards dixie rock. It as FREEZING Cold but it felt good to be running. Then after we ate french toast with strawberries and whip cream. It was super yummy.
